Chris Gayle Makes Richest Cricketer’s List

Cricket is not only a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a cricket field, but it’s also a game in which one can earn millions of dollars in short order.

It is a spectators sport and has one of the largest fan bases throughout the world.

Today, cricket boasts players with top earnings and significant net worth.

Currently, India takes the crown as the country with some of the highest paid players.

However, there are other countries that produce players who earn top dollars.

Chris Gayle, for example, is the only cricketer from the Caribbean to make top 11 richest cricketers list.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Chris Gayle is one of only four cricket players in history to have ever scored two triple centuries at Test level.

He is also the first batsman to score a double-century in a Cricket World Cup.

Gayle, according to the website has an estimated net worth of $15 million. The site noted that the 36-year-old Jamaican batsman made his riches plying his trade for a number of different teams including his current team the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
