Chris Gayle Fails To Dance In PSL’s Outing

Christopher Henry “Chris” Gayle, the 37-year-old Jamaica and Windies opening batsman, failed to dance in his outing in the current Pakistan Super League on Sunday.

The Windies talismanic batter could only contribute 11 runs to his Karachi Kings team’s score of 174.

Notwithstanding, his team registered a 9 run win over Darren Sammy’s Peshawar Zalmi in Dubai.

The Kings first posted 174-4 with Shoaib Malik top scoring with 51 not out, Babar Azam 46 and Ravi Bopara 30.

The Zalmi’s struggled throughout their innings as only Shahid Afridi  54 and Sammy 34, coped against Sohail Khan 3-28 and Usman Khan 3-32 as they were eventually dismissed for 165 in 19.5 overs.

The win takes the Kings from the bottom of the standings with four points while Zalmi remains in third, a point ahead.
