While many countries are struggling to get 5G mobile technology up and running, China has jumped ahead with its sixth generation (6G) mobile technology.
According to scmp.com, a Chinese lab reportedly made a breakthrough in sixth-generation (6G) mobile technology.
The report noted that the government-backed Purple Mountain Laboratories said that a research team had achieved a wireless transmission speed of 206.25 gigabits per second, a world record for real-time wireless transmission.
The 6G speed recorded was about 10-20 times faster than current 5G technology in China, the report said.
