Cameron To Seek Nominations To Run For Chairmanship Of ICC

Former Cricket West Indies (CWI) president Dave Cameron has told Radio Jamaica Sports that he will be seeking nominations to run as chairman of cricket’s world governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC).

However, CWI is yet to receive an official request from Cameron seeking its support.

A week ago, reports emerged that the United States Cricket Hall of Fame, wrote to the current ICC chairman Shasank Manohar, indicating that it would recommend Cameron for the top job.

On Friday, Cameron confirmed with Radio Jamaica Sports that he will be seeking the required nominations for chairman of the ICC.
