Bolt Takes A Break

Jamaica’s athletic legend and Olympic double sprint champion Usain Bolt will take a breather from trial to fulfill pre-planned official commitment before rejoining his soccer team Central Coast Mariners.

He will be away from his team for a week.

This was confirmed by Australian ‘A’ League side Central Coast Mariners on Saturday.

The statement from the club said the break from September 9-16 had been agreed before he joined them for training.

The 32-year-old Jamaican world record holder has been on trial with the Mariners for the last three weeks in the hope of securing a professional contract for the 2018-19 A-League campaign.

Bolt made his debut for the Mariners on August 31, coming off the bench for 18 minutes against a local amateur side.
