Officials of the Alliance Owners of Public Transport in Barbados are urging the government to meet with representatives of the sector regularly so lingering issues can be resolved once and for all.
A notice was served by the chairman, Roy Raphael, advising that his organization was prepared to take action if no meetings or solutions were forthcoming.
He says the government needs to move quickly to confront the issues.
Among the many issues are the island’s roads, that result in major vehicle damage, high insurance costs, and the lack of maintenance of bus stops.
