Barbadians are not taking an attempt by their government to mandate COVID-19 vaccine lying down.
Hundreds of Barbadians turn to the streets in protest to let their voices be heard on the matter.
“We are neither anti-vaccine nor are we anti-government. This is about freedom, freedom of choice, freedom of conscience, the freedom to do what you want to do with your body [and] the freedom to practice your religious rights and the freedom as human beings to refuse non-consensual treatment in any form,” a social activist said in a report.
The Barbadian Government is also considering mandatory testing for the virus.
The country’s Attorney General, Dale Marshall, has been directed to provide the government with an opinion on the criminal and civil liabilities associated with mandatory COVID-19 testing and vaccination.
