Two-time world 100m bronze medallist Asafa Powell on Tuesday registered 9.87 seconds, his seventh sub-10 second time of the season to win at the Galà dei Castelli in Switzerland.
It was Powell’s sixth time under 9.90 seconds as he continues preparation for the Beijing World Championships in one month.
Nesta Carter was second in 10.05 while Kimarley Brown and Andrew Fisher with the identical time of 10.21 were 4th and 5th, respectively.
Christania Williams was fourth in the women’s equivalent with 11.21 behind American Tianna Bartoletta 11.07 secs.
