Apple’s Revenue Jumps…

with huge iPhone sales

Apple reported a jump in sales in the three months to September.

The tech company’s revenue was US$51.5 billion, up 22 per cent, compared with the corresponding period last year.

It sold more than 48 million iPhones in the period, reflecting record fourth quarter sales although the figure did miss analysts’ expectations.

Apple also reported a net income of US$11.1 billion for the period, adding that 2015 has been its most successful year ever.
