Apple Picks Texas To Build New Campus

Apple has announced plans to build a new campus in Austin, Texas, that could see an investment of up to $1 billion spent on the project.

This investment would be an added boost to the Texas economy and would make Apple the biggest private employer in the State’s capital.

The move would also see Apple consolidating its base in the city.

The multinational technology company had indicated earlier in the year to create over 20,000 new jobs in the U.S. by 2023.

It also said it planned to roll out new sites in Seattle, San Diego, and Culver City over the next three years.

The company currently has 90,000 people under its employ, including staff in its retail stores.
