“We can’t wait for people to start wearing Apple Watch to easily access information that matters, to interact with the world, and to live a better day by being more aware of their daily activity than ever before.”

In light of the launch of its new watch, the company boasts the following attributes:

The most personal device yet

A powerful technology made more accessible, more relevant, and ultimately, more personal is how Apple views the product. It also asserted that the Apple Watch represents a new chapter in the relationship people will have with technology.

“It’s the most personal product we’ve ever made because it’s the first one designed to be worn,” said Apple.

An incredibly precise timepiece

Apple affirmed that high-quality watches have long been defined by their ability to keep unfailingly accurate time, and Apple Watch will be no exception.

The watch in conjunction with the iPhone will keep time within 50 milliseconds of the definitive global time standard.

The watch also lends to a degree of intimacy, allowing for the customization of the watch face to present time in a more meaningful, personal context that’s relevant to one’s life and schedule.

Entirely new ways to stay in touch

The company says the Apple Watch will make communicating more convenient, lauding the fact that the watch sits on one’s wrist, and therefore, it can add a physical dimension to alerts and notifications. For example, the feel a gentle tap with each incoming message.

The Apple Watch also lets one connect with one’s favorite people in fun, spontaneous ways — like sending a tap, a sketch, or even your heartbeat.

A smarter way to look at fitness

According to Apple, the Watch will give one a complete picture of one’s all-day activity.

The three rings of the Activity app will show one’s daily progress and help motivate one to sit less, move more, and get some exercise.

It’s also an advanced sports watch, giving one real-time stats for a variety of the most popular workouts.

Over time, Apple Watch will learn one’s activity and fitness levels. It will then use that information to improve the accuracy of one’s measurements and suggest personalized all-day activity goals. It even provides custom reminders to encourage one to achieve them.
