Apple Inc., the American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services has become the first U.S. company to be valued at $2 trillion on the stock market.
It reached the milestone just two years after becoming the world’s first trillion-dollar company in 2018.
Its share price hit $467.77 cents in mid-morning trading in the U.S. on Wednesday to push it over the $2 trillion mark.
Apple is considered one of the Big Tech technology companies, alongside Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Facebook.
