Donald Trump is an American billionaire businessman. He was born on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York.
Trump attended Fordham University and later transferred to the University of Pennsylvania where he completed a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
He is currently the chairman and president of the Trump organization. He is also the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts.
Over the years Trump had indicated his interest in political office but has never entered the political fray until this year when he announced his intention to run on the Republican ticket in the 2016 presidential election.
He has been drawing about 10 percent among Republicans in some national polls. That would be good enough to qualify for the Fox News debate on Aug. 6, which will feature the top 10 candidates in an average of national polls.

Trump is estimated to be worth $4.1 billion by Forbes magazine. Forbes ranks him 133rd richest among American billionaires (388th among global billionaires).
2. Political Party
Trump has flirted with different political parties over the years before returning to the GOP.
Republican (Before 1999; 2009–2011; 2012-present)
Reform Party (1999–2001) Democratic (2001–2009) Independent (2011–2012).
Trump at one time acted as a financial advisor for Mike Tyson, hosting Tyson’s fight against Michael Spinks in Atlantic City.
Trump is a Presbyterian. In an April 2011 interview, on the 700 Club, Trump reportedly said, “I’m a Protestant, I’m a Presbyterian. And you know I’ve had a good relationship with the church over the years. I think religion is a wonderful thing. I think my religion is a wonderful religion.”
He has been married three times and has five children. Spouse(s) includes Ivana Zelníčková (1977–1992), Marla Maples (1993–1999), and Melania Knauss (2005–present).

Trump attended the Kew-Forest School in Forest Hills, Queens, as did some of his siblings. At age 13 after he had some difficulties there, his parents sent him to the New York Military Academy (NYMA), hoping to direct his energy and assertiveness in a positive manner.
