Bonaire is an island located in the Leeward Antilles in the Caribbean Sea.
The country is part of what is referred to as the ABC islands — Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao.
It’s an acclaimed diving and snorkeling destination whose reef-lined coast is protected within the Bonaire National Marine Park.
Beyond its rich marine life, the island shelters different species of lizards, harbors a donkey’s colony, and is a national habitat for hundreds of birds.
The country’s warm climate, beautiful beaches, and natural environment make it a prime tourist destination.
Bonaire boasts a number of activities that include kite-boarding, mountain-biking, hiking, sailing, charter fishing, boating, and bird-watching.
